2-28-10 - Is there a 29 this year?

So I took my manic self and put it to work. This caused a site re-design in about 5 days, as well as multiple pimp myself out letters to festival organizers, an impromptu 12 hour photoshoot scheduled for this weekend and a new facebook fan page for my awesome self.

2-23-10 - Dreamlike
I may have overdone it a little when I went to the Y today. I opted to neglect the fact that I had been sick yesterday and was still dehydrated and sore. Oh well, at least a got a good bit of knitting done, and the kids enjoyed themselves.

2-21-10 - Survived today, and then some
Tyme got sick last night… really sick. Both ends sick, and not able to leave the bed except to visit the bathroom sick. Between the fact that I didn’t get to bed till 4 and his sicky-ness, sleep didn’t happen until about 6:30, and then, of course, Carolyn woke up right on time at 9. Oops.

There’s nothing like reading about our universe to make me feel small and squished. It’s also amazing to think that we can see “into the past” by collecting light from stars that was shed billions of years ago - some of the things that we see now aren’t even there anymore, but their light still travels through space and reaches our tiny eyes.

Thanks to our membership with the Santa Ana Zoo, we get free or half price admission to many zoos and aquariums all over the US. We use this list to decide what we will be visiting in an area. Carolyn slept last night, and so did I. She nursed at 12, then I didn’t nurse her again until 6:30. It was wonderful. Tyme, on the other hand, had an insomnia night and didn’t actually fall asleep until about 5, but he’s not too zombie-ish today, thank goodness.

2-7-10 - Random Cows
I threw Carmen and Tyme out for a hike today while Carolyn was napping. They came home about half an hour later, and Carmen stayed outside to play. Tyme looked out the window to check on her a few minutes later, and saw… cows. On our driveway. His first response? “Grab the camera!”

It took Carmen most of a day to touch this snake, but once she did, it was her bff.
Now she carries it around, feeds it, pets it, talks to it, has it talk to other people, shows it stuff around the house, and freaks if anyone else tries to touch it. Aww.
